Soffritto is looking for a new, full-time Pasta Maker for our production kitchen
First, a bit about us:
We are a Local Italian focused company specializing in amazing fresh olive oil and tasty balsamic vinegar, as well as fresh pasta, olives and various types of prepared foods.
The ideal candidate:
You're a mature and reliable individual with a love and appreciation of great, local food. Strong and reliable work ethic with the ability to maintain a high level of precision and quality through large repetitive tasks. Comfortable following set procedures and techniques while maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
The job responsibilities:
- Maintaining a clean food-safe work environment throughout large volumes of pasta production
- Maintaining an organized and effinacy focused attitude to suite the unique environment of commercial pasta production
- Preparing a large quantity of %100 durum semolina extruded pasta and raviolis
- Shared cleaning and dishwashing duties between entire kitchen staff
- Basic use of computers for printing of packaging labels etc...
- Logistical organization of multiple large pasta order for wholesaling through out the city
Other requirements:
- Applicants must be comfortable working Monday-Friday shifts with the occasional possibility for shifts picked up outside that range
- Minimum Two years kitchen experience with catering/prep/production experience ideal
- Ability to commute regularly and reliably
