Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and quality standards
- Decorate pastries and cakes using various techniques and tools
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the pastry department
- Package finished products for display or delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a pastry or baking role required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the restaurant industry
