Dr. Elaine Fung/Bedford Skin Clinic are currently looking to hire a Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy and well-established practice. As part of the Administrative team, you are the face of the business. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships. Responsibilities
- Support with office management of the clinic
- Demonstrate exceptional service and next-level Patient Care
- office administrative duties for patient clinical care, academic responsibilities, scheduling, communication/patient correspondence, MSI billing and records management, referral and surgery waitlist maintenance, as well as clinic bookings.
- Oversee physician schedule to maximize booking efforts
- Conduct surgical consultations alongside the surgeon
- Create and discuss surgical quotes with patients
- Schedule all appointments involved in the patient's surgical journey
- Manage all patient calls and inquiries with a smile: appointments, confirmations, and amendments
- Manage potential cancellations and overcome objections to motivate the patient to keep the appointment
- Patient invoicing, insurance forms, respond to all fee inquiries in a positive manner
- Effectively manage the recall system and accurately maintain the patient database
- Ensure practice provides the appropriate level of patient service including the resolution of patient concerns/issues
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization
- Review and approve hours worked by staff by deadline
- Provide additional administrative support where needed
- Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives
- Constantly providing feedback to Operations on how patient experience and clinic flow can improve
- Assist providers in managing clinics social media page
- Other duties as assigned

About You:
- Minimum 3 years of Administrator experience
- Clinical background considered an asset
- Candidate must be highly organized, possess strong customer service and computer skills.
- Marketing, sales, and management experience is an asset.
- Experience with medical software and electronic medical record programs such as Accuro and PHS/STAR is considered an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
