Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager Quality & Safety, the Patient Safety Administrative Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating the activities of the Patient Safety and Client Concerns Departments. This includes coordinating and supporting a broad range of functions to support the Patient Safety Specialists, Client Concerns Specialists, Patient Safety Associate, operational directors and managers, including assisting with obtaining data for safety investigations and preparing health record chronological overviews, transcription, organizing educational material and training, and tracking and monitoring incidents, audit activities and report development pursuant Provincial legislation and to applicable Saskatoon Health Region policy and procedures.

Experience
Several years of relevant office management/administrative support experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to maintain records and collect data for evaluation and planning
Advanced computer skills
An ability to take large volumes of complex and technical information and convey it concisely and effectively
Creativity, flexibility, self-directed
Demonstrated political sensitivity and discretion
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound judgement and comprehesive problem solving skills
Successful completion of a recognized administrative support education program with a recognized business college. Skilful, effective use of current computer software and systems supporting word-processing, data collection and analysis, and presentation material design/layout is essen
