At the Pediatric Dental Group (PDG), we believe in having fun while delivering excellent patient service. We are a multi-location dental group specializing in Orthodontics and Pediatric dentistry for children, adolescents, and adults in our Vancouver, Delta/Surrey, Richmond, and Coquitlam offices.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
PDG is looking for a self-motivated, full-time permanent Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to be part of our team. A positive attitude and team player mentality is a must! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Coordinator in a fast-paced dental practice.
JOB DUTIES
· Establish and maintain digital employee records on both ADP and Kronos systems.
- Review employee time and attendance records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with payroll regulations and employment standards
- Process semi-monthly payrolls for all company employees
- Assist with year-end payroll processes for T4s.
· Complete with payroll journal entries in our accounting software
· Input approved vacations and monitor vacation accruals
· Ensure all wage changes are accurately inputted into our HRIS systems
· Accurately process onboarding and off-boarding documentation using our ADP and Kronos systems.
· Administer and maintain employment benefits for employees
· Review for accuracy invoices, including Benefit plan, WCB, Temp Agencies, and EHT.
· Respond in a timely manner to all employee inquiries
· Process Records of Employment
· Assist the HR Manager & Coordinator and Management team with additional projects as required.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
· Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and/or Bachelor's degree is considered an asset
· 2 years of payroll experience for salaried and hourly employees is considered an asset
· Experience using Sage, ADP and Kronos is considered an Asset
· Strong Organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed employee records
· Must be able to handle confidential information ethically and professionally.
