I am Bianka, Team Leader in Recruitment and Business Development at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in recruitment for Finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team, experts in finance, speak your language and operate in your world. I am looking for a Payroll Manager for my client, a large real estate group. This is a permanent post in hybrid mode.

Our team of enthusiasts is currently looking for a Payroll AS to fill a permanent full-time position. Reporting to the Payroll Director, the main responsibility of the paymaster is
- Process confidential payroll (complete cycle of an integrated portfolio)
- Supervise the payroll team for payroll production;
- Act as a resource person for all payroll-related questions with managers;
- Interact with the Human Resources department to obtain, clarify or correct the information received;
- Support Payroll Technicians in creating reports in Desjardins;
- Contribute to the team's efforts by completing payroll-related tasks as needed;
- Replace the Payroll Director during her absence;
- Process disability files, CNESST maternity/paternity and group insurance;
- As well as: vacation payment, employment insurance application, time bank and union dues deduction;
- Complete and participate in the production of end-of-year reports (salary declaration, CNESST, 1% Training, EHT, WSIB, etc.);
- Carry out all end-of-month activities required for payroll while respecting deadlines;
- Participate and coordinate the end-of-year process;
- Improve current payroll production and propose improvements/solutions for all establishments;
- Prepare annual reports taking into account bonuses and increases;
- Train new users of the system;
- Perform any other related task.

Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of experience relevant to the position;
- Experience processing payroll in a large, high-volume company;
- Experience in team management;
- Certification from the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA), a major asset;
- Knowledge of Employer D is a strong asset;
- Knowledge of the unionized context and the application of collective agreements;
- DEC in accounting, or any training deemed relevant to the position;
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel;
- Bilingualism, both oral and written;
- Experience with time management software, preferably Agile (Synerion), an asset.
