Payroll/AP Associate

Schedule: Full Time, Permanent (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00 or 9:00am-5:30pm)

Who are we:

EggSolutions-Vanderpols Inc. formally known as Vanderpols Eggs. A food processing plant that takes shell egg’s and processes them into liquid egg to be packaged into different size of packaging for supplying a variety of options for distributor’s, retails store & food manufacturing industry.

We are now hiring for a Payroll/AP Associate at our Abbotsford location. Our quickly growing company has plenty of departments to grow and develop your career!

Who are you:

· Ability to pay attention to details.

· Willingness to assist with inquiries and requests.

· Deal with changes, delays, and unexpected events in a timely manner.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Ability to maintain filing systems, basic databases, and other systems.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Payroll Programs.

· Skilled in time management, multitasking, and prioritizing tasks.

What you'll do:

· Maintain AP and employee records.

· Identify and record applicable taxes.

· Entry vendor invoices into the database.

· Obtain proper authorizations.

· Resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues prior to entry.

· Provide general accounting support, bank reconciliation and review and clarify GL codes.

· Setup new employees’ files, pay, benefits packages and RRSP/DPSP documents.

· Complete pay runs on a bi-weekly basis.

· Post bi-weekly payroll to GLs.

· Process all invoices.

· Balance year end accounts and preview T4 calculations.

· Additional items as they come up.

What you've done:

· Completion of post-secondary certificate or diploma in related field.

· Achieved 2+ years of relevant experience.

· Knowledge of labor laws and Employment Standard Act.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $52,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
