Pedicurist (certification opportunity)

The selected candidate(s) will be provided financial coverage towards their certified course, all in-house training and support provided to get you every step of the way to being fully certified pedicurist at Spa901.

Eligibility

The candidate must be available for the initial education portion prior to commencement of employment:

• Available to commence theory study from March 30th 2024 (approx. 10 hour study commitment in own time).
• Course date commitments April 13th, April 27th & May 19th 2024 (Virtual attendance)
• Available for in-house practicums & training between April 28th – May 20th 2024 (flexible schedule based on educators & candidate’s availability).

Requirements

In order to be considered for a position, you must be a person who is:

• Canadian Citizen or obtain a valid Canadian work/study permit
• Long-term, committed resident of Fernie, BC
• Minimum age of 17 years old
• Spa901 Employment Contract 18month commitment (Full-Time or Part-time, 3 – 5 days commitment will only be considered)
• The ability to work weekends, flexible summer availability, 6-8 hour shifts between 10am-6pm
• Has a desire to learn and possess motivation towards to new career path in the beauty industry
• Is an excellent communicator and excels in customer service situations
• Handles challenges with poise, grace, and sound judgment
• Is committed to the highest standards of safety, quality and hygiene

• Effectively provide a variety of pedicure treatments
• Work effectively with like-minded industry professionals in an award-winning spa
• Provide retail and home care recommendations to clients
• Effectively manage time and appointment flow

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 37 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

• 8 hour shift
• Every Weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
