About this role: 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our Core Services team as the People Services Lead. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Contact Center (Tier 1) and Workforce Admin (Tier 2) activities for our global workforce, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of HR transactions and data management. Your expertise in HR operations and your commitment to excellence will play a key role in supporting the organisation's HR functions on a global scale.

You will lead a dedicated team located in Winnipeg, Canada. If you are a proactive and results-driven HR professional with a strong background in managing HR administration and contact centre teams facilitating employees across various countries, we encourage you to apply for this position. These are some of the key ingredients to the role: 

  • Mentor and develop the operational Workforce Admin associates and the Contact Center People Associates who are located across various countries and work independently fostering their growth and building a high-performing and engaged team
  • Oversee and manage the Tier 1 and Tier 2 HR administration processes from all countries within JET, including: Organisation Management, Worker Data Management, Terminations, Global Mobility, Time Management, documentation management, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
  • Continuously evaluate and optimise HR administration processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience. Identify opportunities for automation and standardisation
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of employee data, records, and files in the HRIS. Support data audits and reporting requirements, ensuring data integrity and security
  • Stay informed about relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to HR administration globally. Ensure all processes and practices align with legal standards
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, HR teams, and business leaders to provide timely and accurate information related to HR administration processes and policies
  • Generate regular reports and analytics related to HR administration activities, providing insights to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and support to HR teams and employees on HR administration processes, ensuring consistent understanding and adherence to best practices.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in HR administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing multiple HR operations teams.
  • Strong understanding of Core HR administration processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems (Workday) and software for data management and reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
