As the Performance Marketing Specialist, you’ll report to the Marketing Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing team and portfolio companies to achieve aggressive growth goals. You’ll be responsible for the entire paid advertising lifecycle, from strategic planning and media buying to campaign execution and performance optimization.

This is an in-office role in Toronto, ON.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to strategize and execute data driven marketing campaigns aligned with our vision and the unique needs of each portfolio company
  • Own and manage multi-channel advertising campaigns across search engines (PPC), social media, and other digital channels to maximize reach and engagement for our portfolio companies
  • Conduct in-depth research on target audiences and market trends. Craft compelling marketing materials that resonate with the identified audience and achieve campaign goals
  • Analyze campaign performance across the portfolio, identify optimization opportunities, and continuously iterate on strategies to drive success
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching and embracing new marketing trends and technologies to continuously improve our marketing approach
  • Collaborate with marketing team and external resources on content creation and other marketing initiatives to create a cohesive brand experience
  • Translate complex marketing data into clear and impactful reports for stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned
  • Assist with marketing budget management to ensure efficient resource allocation and campaign effectiveness

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2-4 years of experience in growth or Performance Marketing, paid advertising or a related field
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across various digital channels (PPC, SEO, social media, email, etc.) and traditional channels (print, media buys, radio, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage technology, AI, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager) to streamline workflows, measure performance and translate data into actionable insights
  • Eye for detail with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to budgets and KPI’s across both digital and traditional channels
  • Ability to craft engaging and informative content aligned with target audience needs, for both digital and traditional formats (writing, editing, social media, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present marketing data and insights to stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-starting with a passion for staying up to date on the latest marketing trends and best practices (knowledge of AI trends and tools a plus)

  • Experience with A/B testing, programmatic advertising buying, and marketing attribution modeling a plus
