Job description

Willis Canada Inc. (WTW) Personal Insurance is growing and expanding their capacity in the High-Net-Worth space. The Personal Lines Client Advocate will be a member of the Canadian account management team, working collaboratively to meet and exceed client expectations. You will interact regularly with both clients and insurance companies to create and maintain insurance programs that provide best protection and are aligned with client priorities. Building rapport and long-term relationships, combined with the delivery of professional advice is central to the role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the placement and service of Personal Lines in an automated and electronic work environment.
  • Develop a relationship of trust and retain customers
  • Identify and assess the risk and needs of clients and prospects; counsel and recommend clients on risk management and products with the highest level of integrity and expertise
  • Perform all phases of new business, renewal and remarket processing including preparation of applications, negotiation with underwriters, obtaining quotes, creating proposals, monitoring status, and follow up to delivery of policy documents to client
  • Proactive Renewal Reviews, processing policy renewals and modifications as requested by the client
  • Identifies and processes coverage enhancements and cross- sales opportunities
  • Resolve broker and customer problems independently and efficiently. Take ownership of complex or escalated client issues. Ensure all exceptions and client issues are documented and resolved in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with all WTW procedures and regulatory procedures;

Requirements/Experience:

  • 5 years' experience in Personal Insurance (experience serving VIP clients is an asset)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • RIBO License

  • You have a method to identify customers' priorities and needs and provide risk advice that is relevant
  • You are familiar with several insurers' rules and systems. If you are familiar with Chubb, Intact Prestige and Aviva Ovation products, that's a big plus!
  • You have solid computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite). An asset: Applied EPIC
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Presentation, organizational and critical thinking skills
