Personal Support Assistant (Companion)

Happy at Home Support Services Inc. provides in home support services to clients in Orillia and its surrounding areas. With non-essential services opened up we are currently seeking exceptional Personal Support Assistants (PSAs). Our Personal Support Workers and Personal Support Assistants are rewarded with a positive, supportive workplace environment.

Responsibilities include:

• light housekeeping services (dusting, sweeping/vacuuming/mopping, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, fridge clean outs)
• laundry services (linen switches, wash/dry & fold)
• companion visits
• dependable
• documentation of each visit

Qualifications:

• high-school graduate diploma
• previous experience with the elderly
• two work related references
• valid class G drivers license and own a vehicle
• Valid first Aid/CPC certificate (within 8 weeks of hire)
• An acceptable Vulnerable Sector check (within 2 weeks of hire)
• cellular phone with email capabilities
• available for work between 8am-7pm, including weekend availability
