Personal Support Worker

Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in a variety of settings, such as assisted living facilities, home care, or hospice care.
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting if necessary.
- Document patient care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as caregiving or patient care, is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of senior care practices and techniques is beneficial.

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need of support.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

Salary: $18.68-$25.88 per hour

Expected hours: 17.38 – 24.88 per week
