We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by helping them with daily activities and providing emotional support.
```Responsibilities:```
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Assist by reminding clients to take medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing
- Help clients with mobility issues and perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed
```Skills:```
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs
- Understanding of senior care principles and best practices
- Familiarity with home care settings and nursing home environments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards clients' needs

Job Type: Casual
Salary: $21.10-$21.99 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
