Personal Support Worker - Attendant Outreach - Permanent Part-Time

Access Better Living Inc. is a not for profit organization which promotes independent living and community involvement for persons with disabilities through the provision of quality services and housing.

We are seeking to hire Permanent Part-time Personal Support Workers (PSW) who are interested in working with our community based Outreach Program within a unionized environment.

As a Personal Support Worker, you will assist adults with physical disabilities with activities of daily living as directed by the individual. Services range from Personal Support to homemaking.

Qualifications:

· PSW certification, DSW Certification, have completed the First Year of RPN or RN Program, or any relevant experience demonstrating skills and knowledge related to the position

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to follow instructions and work independently

· Bilingualism is an asset but not mandatory

· Availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays

· Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance, as the use of your personal vehicle is required.
