The Opportunity
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), the PSW provides quality
personal and bedside care to residents in accordance with individual resident care plans and the
policies/procedures within the Pines Long Term Care Home.
What You Will Do:
• Under the direction of the Registered Staff,
deliver therapeutic nursing measures to
promote the comfort and safety of residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living,
- Report observed changes in the residents’
Registered Practical Nurse.
• Personal Support Worker Certificate (8 months)
- Previous experience working with seniors,
preferably in Long Term Care is an asset plus on-
the-job orientation or training of up to 3 months
- Completed police record check, including
