Personal Support Worker

Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in need, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring medical care
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces and doing laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, nursing home, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and experience with dementia care is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks when necessary
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions from healthcare professionals
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required

Salary: $23.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 – 90 per week
