Personal Support Worker

URGENT!! We’re recruiting FULL-TIMECertified Personal Support Workers(PSWs), in Hunstville, and surrounding areas of Bracebridge and Orillia, Ontario. The ideal candidate must be able to attend to multiple patients at a time in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties for PSW:

• Following the care plan, observing and reporting any substantial findings and/or changes in patient/resident/client’s behavior to the appropriate registered member of the healthcare team.
• Performing tasks delegated to them, ambulation, positioning, and transferring using mechanical lifts such as a Hoyer lift, ADLS
• Assisting or providing total personal care such as toileting, bathing, and perineal care
• Assisting with eating, dressing, and grooming.
• Assisting nursing staff by answering call bells (In Hospitals and Long-Term care homes)
• Computer or paper documentation of Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and other findings.

Job Requirements:

• Must be flexible to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Canadian PSW certificate from a certified school
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
• Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months is a must
• TB test within the last 1 year
• Proof of 2nd dose of Covid-19 vaccination
• Must be energetic and compassionate
• Should be able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Should be comfortable working solely and/or in a team environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
• Must drive
