Personnal Support Worker (Psw)

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This position requires experience in personal care, meal preparation, senior care, dementia care, assisted living, home care, caregiving, medication administration, and cleaning.

Duties:
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met
- provide medications reminders to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and tidying up living spaces
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of clients

Job Requirements:

Applicants for this role must possess the following:

• 2 years working experience in the home care sector
• PSW/HWA certificate
• First Aid/CPR certificate
• TB immunization proof
• Covid vaccination proof
• Police background check
• 2 references

Experience:
- Previous experience working of working as a personal Support Worker
- Familiarity with dementia care and understanding of the unique needs of seniors
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
