Pet Care Attendant- Part Time

WEEKENDS AND UPTO 2 DAYS MONDAY-FRIDAY. Not suitable for a high-school student.

Apple Ridge Farm is a growing team of passionate dog people that want to add exceptional individuals to our team. Our mission is to provide the best possible experience for our customers and their dogs with a focus on fun and safety.

Our staff is expected to be self starters, take instruction well, quick learners and work well with others. Doggie Daycares /Boarding facilities are rewarding places to work but they can also be stressful at times. All staff members must be calm under pressure and have a strong sense of confidence when dealing with multiple dogs and issuing corrections when necessary.

We are Looking for an exceptional Pet CARE ATTENDANT who enjoys working with people just as much as they love animals. We are a growing Farm/ Pet Care Facility and we need your commitment to building strong relationships with both our clients and fellow staff.

Preference will be given to individuals with experience working with a group of dogs and or livestock, has a good understanding of dog behaviour/dog safety, professional experience as a dog walker, within a dog daycare, dog trainer, in the SPCA or related shelter programs.

Job Type: PART TIME

Salary: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: Up to 30 hours a week.

Available : Weekends and one to two days Monday- Friday required.
