Lake Country Co-op is hiring a Full Time Pharmacist (Temporary approximately January 29, 2024, to February 28, 2025) at our Clinic Pharmacy and Marketplace Pharmacy locations in Prince Albert, SK. This position may lead to permanent employment under mutual agreement.
If you are looking to use your pharmacy knowledge and skills to make a difference in members lives, then Lake Country Co-op is looking for you! Reporting to the Team Leaders of the Pharmacy teams at the Prince Albert Clinic and Marketplace Pharmacy locations, you will be responsible for providing pharmacy services according to full scope of practice. You must have the ability to work well within multi-generational and collaborative teams and be self-reliant, goal-oriented, and able to set and adjust priorities and workflow.
What youll do:
Partner with our committed community pharmacy team.
Provide clinical pharmacy services according to full scope of practice.
Collaborate with other health professionals.
Provide education to clients and other health care professionals.
Prescription processing, dispensing, verification, and required record keeping.
Compound in accordance to NAPRA guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial acts, regulations, and guidelines.
Provide supervision to pharmacy support staff.
Inventory management.
Make patient safety and quality improvement a priority.
