Pharmacy Assistant

Breakwater Pharmacy has been open since 2011, and we have built our practice by providing the highest level of care to our patients. We have done this by ensuring that we have both the skills, as well as the time to spend with each patient. As our practice has grown we have added more pharmacists, registered technicians, pharmacy students and assistants to ensure that we do not have to compromise on the level of care we provide.

Our commitment to anyone that joins our practice is that they will be given the time, personnel and resources to practice at the peak of their abilities.

Pharmacy assistants are involved in patient care by both direct interaction with patients, as well as assisiting in the logistical parts of the practice. This will involve things such as answering phone calls, as well as face to face interaction with patients. Helping with the preperation of prescriptions (counting tablets, labeling bottles, etc) is also a large part of the daily activities.

While experience is an asset, we are willing to provide training in house to the successful applicant if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
