Position: Photo Editor/Processor

Location: Victoria, BC (Hybrid Position - Flexible In-Office and Remote Work)

Type: Part-Time to Full-Time, Seasonal (Minimum 15 hours/week, up to 40 hours/week during peak season)

Compensation: Up to $24/hour, dependent on experience

Start Date: As soon as possible

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Photo Editor/Processor with extensive experience in photo editing, especially within real estate photography. This hybrid role offers flexibility, allowing for both in-office and remote work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, proficiency in the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro), and the capability to deliver high-quality flambient style imagery. Speed, accuracy, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines during our busy summer season are critical. Video editing skills are a significant asset, enhancing our photo editing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and process real estate photos, emphasizing quality, speed, and accuracy.
• Create visually appealing images using flambient editing techniques.
• Support video editing projects, demonstrating proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and/or Final Cut Pro.
• Engage in occasional field work, providing photography and videography support.
• Manage fluctuating workloads effectively, accommodating up to 40 hours/week during peak season.

Requirements:

• Profound expertise in photo editing, with a focus on real estate photography.
• Demonstrable skill in flambient style editing.
• Strong foundation in photography; video editing is a considerable asset.
• Expertise in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
• Ability to work flexibly within a hybrid work model.
• Excellent communication skills; must clearly outline relevant experience.
