Title: Physiotherapist Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist and implement therapy programs that would allow residents to realize their maximum potential
- Monitor residents during physiotherapy programs and provides suggestions to the physiotherapist
- Document and record resident information
- Work in relation to residents’ care issues and care plans that pertain to Occupational/ Physiotherapy Program
- Work with the Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist, fully support and assist the Therapeutic Services
- Attend meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized Physiotherapy Program or equivalent with certificate
- Experience in long-term care is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Alzheimer Disease and related Dementia, CPR and First Aid courses would be an asset
Rate: as per Department of Health and Wellness funding, with competitive benefits
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: Up to $47,884.00 per year
