Job Title: Pipeline Rig Welder (B Pressure)

Location: Fort St. John, BC

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced B PressureRig Welders for pipeline construction and maintenance projects in Fort St. John, BC. This role is vital for ensuring the integrity and safety of pipeline systems used in the transportation of oil, gas, and other substances. We offer competitive compensation, including a living out allowance and camp accommodations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality welding on pipeline systems using B Pressure welding techniques.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding process specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and repairs on pipeline systems as needed.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and machinery.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments for efficient project completion.
  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Valid B Pressure Welding Certification.
  • Proven experience in pipeline welding, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
  • Familiarity with SMAW, GTAW, and other welding processes.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual labor and work in various positions.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding preferred.
  • Several years of relevant welding experience, specifically in pipeline construction.
Working Conditions:
  • This position involves working in outdoor environments, often in remote and challenging locations.
  • Strict adherence to safety standards due to potential exposure to hazardous materials.
  • The role requires flexibility with travel and working hours, including potential overtime and weekend work.
