Pizza Cook

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble high-quality pizzas according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Manage and organize pizza toppings, sauces, and other ingredients to facilitate a smooth cooking process.
• Maintain a clean and organized pizza preparation station, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor and replenish pizza ingredients as needed to meet customer demand.
• Prepare pizza dough, ensuring proper rising and stretching techniques to achieve desired crust thickness
• Monitor and manage dough inventory to meet production needs while minimizing waste.
• Ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection, meeting quality standards for taste and appearance.
• Conduct regular quality checks on pizza ingredients, including freshness and proper storage.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain consistency in overall food quality.
• Provide a positive and friendly customer experience through open kitchen communication.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant setting
• Familiarity with various pizza styles and cooking techniques
• Proficient in pizza dough preparation, stretching, and tossing techniques.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to follow and enforce kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or containers.
