Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble high-quality pizzas according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Manage and organize pizza toppings, sauces, and other ingredients to facilitate a smooth cooking process.
- Maintain a clean and organized pizza preparation station, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor and replenish pizza ingredients as needed to meet customer demand.
- Prepare pizza dough, ensuring proper rising and stretching techniques to achieve desired crust thickness
- Monitor and manage dough inventory to meet production needs while minimizing waste.
- Ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection, meeting quality standards for taste and appearance.
- Conduct regular quality checks on pizza ingredients, including freshness and proper storage.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain consistency in overall food quality.
- Provide a positive and friendly customer experience through open kitchen communication.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Familiarity with various pizza styles and cooking techniques
- Proficient in pizza dough preparation, stretching, and tossing techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to follow and enforce kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or containers.
