R. Dobbin Engineering is an engineering firm providing services to support residential and industrial development, site plans, municipal projects and municipal drains. The company currently has 10 employees. Past projects have included municipal drainage, residential subdivision development including sanitary pump stations, storm water management facilities (including greenhouses), storm and sanitary sewer design, water main design (including rural water main projects), road and street design and culverts (corrugated steel pipe and pre-cast concrete box culverts), bridge inspection and rehabilitation as well as lot grading plans.

Responsibilities

· Project/manage development applications through draft plan, environmental approvals, design, plan of subdivision, construction, etc.

· Fulfill various technical responsibilities based on your background and experience ranging from stormwater servicing, water distribution and wastewater collection analysis, cost estimate development, servicing strategy development and evaluation and hydraulic modelling.

· Be responsible for key project deliverables including written reports, technical memos, client presentations, modelling outputs and GIS mapping deliverables.

· Assist with the development of proposals, qualification documents and other business development related activities.

· Ability to perform on-site construction inspection if required.

Qualifications and Experience

· Professional qualification or designation preferred

· PMP designation would be seen as an asset

· Engineering, planning and/or technology accreditation

· Experience with environmental approvals considered an asset

· Exposure to all or either water, wastewater and stormwater engineering considered an asset

· Municipal engineering design and construction experience a benefit

· Overall municipal engineering exposure a benefit

· Strong overall communication skills

· Ability to participate in and lead multi-disciplinary project teams

· Strong overall software aptitude

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
