Plant Operations Manager (Custom Fabrication)

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for directing all Custom Fabrication and production activities with a world renown Custom Fabrication and manufacturing company
• Lead and motivate operations and production team to achieve key goals and targets set for the facility
• Manage and direct Plant Operations along with complete responsibility for safe and compliant production, maintenance, materials and shipping
• Embrace corporate and business unit initiatives including lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Ensure manufacturing capabilities and process are in place to meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for cost, quality, on time delivery, and responsiveness
• Ensure that products are fabricated in a safe and efficient manner, resulting in a high-quality product that is delivered to the company’s customers on time
• Drive continuous improvement and lead lean manufacturing and waste elimination activities
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
• Responsible and accountable for production results in terms of methods, quality, quantity and delivery of production

Key Qualifications:

• University degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ideal candidate will have experience in both Custom Manufacturing and Mass Production environments
• Sharp and analytical mindset to make decisions along with strong cultural and emotional intelligence skills to lead change
• Confident accomplished leadership with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and diverse projects including, analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem solving, decision making and carrying out assigned projects with minimal supervision.
• Proven track record of utilizing sound problem-solving skills set and root cause analysis
• Communicate well at all levels within the organization as well as externally with customers, suppliers and the community
• Ability to make decisions that are balanced and inclusive of the team's input.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000.00-$170,000.00 per year
