Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure they meet building codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Perform heavy lifting as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plumber or completion of an apprenticeship program.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including the ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Basic carpentry skills for cutting openings in walls, floors, and ceilings as needed for pipe installation.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand how different components of a plumbing system work together.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require heavy lifting and long periods of standing or kneeling.
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, angles, and dimensions.

Salary: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
