SUMMARY
- Leads team of 3 - 5 porters as the Closing Porter Supervisor
- Hours may vary based on event needs but most commonly scheduled for 3pm-11pm
- Performs duties including setting and checking of rooms according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO), clearing rooms following the completion of events, and setting up water stations as required.
- May perform general food service work including clearing of dishes from banquet rooms at the completion of events.
- Maintains customer service and sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carefully sets up rooms according to BEOs.
- Makes changes to room sets as requires, or complete room flips in a timely manner as required.
- Uses attention to detail to ensure that room sets are correct according to the BEO.
- Follows standard CGC and client policies at all times.
- Sets water set ups as required based on BEOs.
- Interacts with managers and supervisors and resolves guest concerns politely and promptly.
- Completes room sanitation and disinfection as per CGC disinfection protocols prior to each event.
- Clears used or excess dishes, glassware and silverware as required in the process of completing room sets.
- Responsible for all assigned tasks and sets as required for the next day’s service.
- Completes daily completion reports and checklists as required.
- Checks in with managers/supervisors at designated times to confirm task completion.
- May be required to replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
- May be required to complete additional cleaning, sanitation and cleaning tasks as time permits.
- Ensures tables and chairs are properly set and locked in all rooms as per BEO standards.
- Must interact with co-workers in order to ensure compliance with company service standards, and company inventory and cash control procedures.
- Must follow all health and safety and quality assurance company policies at all times.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to understand, read, write, follow instructions and interact with customers and co-workers in order to assure customer satisfaction. Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in English.
