SalaryFireside Pictures is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced contractor to join our company on a contract basis, as a Post-Production Assistant, with a focus on film tax credits and production audit preparation. The successful candidate will provide direct clerical assistance to the Post-Production Accountant, utilizing specialized accounting practices geared towards the media and film industry, with a huge potential for performance-based growth.

Your primary duties will include:
- Aiding in sourcing individual documents related to audit inquiries, film tax credit filings, with a specific focus on CAVCO, OFTTC, and CRA.
- Act as an intermediary between auditors, business affairs, and government agencies to provide specifics, source relevant information/documents, and provide general communication when required.
- Perform reviews of active audits, ensuring all documentation is sourced and provided effectively and efficiently, to eliminate the potential for errors and delays.
- Comply with all federal and provincial policies regarding industry specific standards and guidelines, to ensure accuracy and ethical business practices.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Post-secondary education.
- An ability to display a firm understanding of clerical roles.
- Ability to follow direction, work through tight deadlines, with an analytical mindset.
- Comprehension of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office 365 an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
- Passion for film is a plus.
