Job Description
Looking for immediate employment in a clean, safe work environment? Our client, a well known company in Waterloo, is recruiting a team of Powder Coaters/painters to start immediately.
Location: Northfield Dr W & King St N
What's in it for you?
- $20-21 per hr
- Paid weekly, every Friday
- Days Mon to Fri 7am to 3:30pm
- Afternoons Mon to Thurs 3pm to 2am (must have own vehicle)
- Temp to perm opportunity
"Follow safe work practices including use of personal protective devices
"Ensure respirator is in proper working condition with clean cartridges
"Maintain ISO 9001 standards
"Follow manufacturing methods sheets
"Set up paint equipment
"Ensure paint guns are clean and in good working order
"Ensure paint has been mixed and there is enough for the job
"Inspect parts for water, grease, oil before painting
"Ensure all parts are masked if required
"Check colour and gloss
"Check for runs, sags and light spots
"Complete necessary paperwork and documentation
"Clean equipment and work area each shift; dispose of unused paint appropriately
"Perform work duties assigned by Lead hand or Shift Supervisor
"Report any incident/accident to Lead hand or Shift Supervisor immediately
What do you bring to the job?
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs
- Previous powder coating experience
- Knowledge of responsibilities as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act Section 28
