We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Power Washer for our nursery barn. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the barn to provide a healthy and comfortable environment for our young piglets. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically fit, and able to work effectively in an agricultural setting. Great for a student as hours are flexible
Responsibilities
1. Cleaning and Sanitization: Utilize power washing equipment to thoroughly clean and sanitize the nursery barn, including walls, floors, and equipment, to promote a hygienic environment for the piglets.
2. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating power washing equipment and handling cleaning chemicals to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
Qualifications:
1. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, to effectively carry out power washing duties.
2. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of the nursery barn, leaving no area unattended.
3. Ability to work alone
4. Agricultural Experience: Previous experience working in an agricultural setting, particularly with livestock, is beneficial but not mandatory.
5. Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety practices and protocols related to the operation of power washing equipment and the handling of cleaning chemicals.
Working Conditions:
The position of Nursery Barn Power Washer for Pigs involves working in an agricultural environment, which may include exposure to outdoor weather conditions and strong odors associated with livestock farming. The role may also require occasional lifting of heavy objects and maneuvering in confined spaces within the barn.
