Private Nanny

Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and caring individual to join our family as a Babysitter/Nanny. As a Babysitter/Nanny, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care and supervision for our children in a safe and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with children and is passionate about their well-being.

You should be comfortable in gentle sleep training, potty training and absolutely no screen time throughout the day, as well as teaching independence and Montessori methods to our older child.

Duties:
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational exercises
- Provide assistance with homework and educational tasks
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they receive proper nutrition
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and other personal care needs
- Monitor children's behavior and ensure their safety at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise

Skills:
- Meal preparation: Ability to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
- Clean: Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Caregiving: Experience providing care for children, including bathing, dressing, and diaper changing
- Educate: Ability to assist with homework and educational activities for children
- Cook: Knowledge of cooking meals that meet dietary restrictions or preferences of the children
- Experience with children: Previous experience caring for children of various ages

- Previous experience working with children is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for children
- Basic cleaning skills to maintain a clean environment

Requirements:
- Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred

Salary: $16.55-$18.50 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
