Independent and Proactive Nanny/Family Assistant Needed For A Varsity View Family

A lively and Affectionate Family in Saskatoon are seeking a professional nanny to join them in caring for their 2 children!

• Location: Saskatoon, SK
• Ages of children: 8 and 11 year old
• Start date/Contract dates: ASAP but family is willing to wait for the right fit
• Schedule:8am - 4pm
• Compensation: $19 -$20/hr
• Live-in/Live-out: Live out

Household dynamic: - This returning Little Einstein's family is looking for their next nanny. They have two children who are in school from 8am - 3pm and would need the nanny to help drive kids to school. The family deeply values an environment that fosters independence, resilience, self-confidence, and respect for firm boundaries. The family enjoys variety of different and healthy foods and is looking for someone that can help with food preparation and cooking.

Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for someone who is intuitive, organized, self-starting and communicative.
• Family is looking for someone who is a gentle disciplinarian and who enjoys engaging with school-aged kids.
• A candidate who can anticipate what needs to be done and keeps things organized and orderly will be valued. This family will appreciate working with someone who is self-motivated and who will support the children’s confidence through positive communication around behaviors and expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare fresh and healthy snacks and meals for the family
• Daily household cleaning including bathrooms, kitchens, and floors.
• Organizing seasonal clothes, ironing, and folding laundry for the family
• Driving children to and from school
• Occasional gardening in the summer

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare/housekeeping experience (asset)
• Comfortable preparing basic meals for the whole family
• Non-smoker
• Clean background check
• Current infant/child CPR and first-aid certificate
• Positive attitude, proactive and organized
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
