Private Tutor (K-12)

RESET CORE Learning Program supports learners in self-awareness, learning habits and lifelong learning through understanding, practice and habit-forming implementation. The program facilitates understanding neuroplasticity and how the brain learns through a structured research-based model.

To meet the ongoing needs of the school community, we are expanding our learning offerings to include RESET TUTORING, ONE-ON-ONE TUTORING programs on various subjects.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

To meet the needs associated with our growth, we are seeking on-call contract Tutors to guide students' one-on-one learning experience and deliver various Private Tutoring classes (English, Math, Science, French, ESL etc.) at our West Broadway location: 2509 West Broadway, Vancouver.

The ideal candidates are passionate, BC-certified teachers who are bright, enthusiastic, motivated, and possess a positive, inspiring attitude toward education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a positive and personal learning experience for students in K - 12.
• Teach various subjects including Reading, Writing, Math, and others as needed.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to the individual needs of students.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• BC-Certified teacher in good standing preferred.
• Experience in teaching/tutoring students in various subjects and levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Good-natured and positive attitude towards teaching and learning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be available for at least 2 hours per week.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work different shifts based on candidate availability.
