As a Pro Shop Attendant, you will contribute to the effective day-to-day operation of the Pro Shop by helping customers with equipment rental transactions, maintenance, cleaning, and services to the public. Primary duties include:
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist with customer questions and concerns.
- Ensure cleanliness of the rental shop, surrounding area, and equipment.
- Perform rental equipment tuning, regular maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure all rental equipment transactions are accurately processed in accordance with training.
- Sell items/transactions and handle cash; utilize the point-of-sale machine.
- Assist with inventory processes such as rotating and displaying product.
- Communicate in person and via radio with the team on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of age.
- A completed High School diploma or equivalency (such as GED) is an asset.
- Experience working in retail or rental shops would be considered an asset.
- Success in this role requires strong cash handling abilities and basic math skills.
- Excellent communication with an emphasis on customer service, and a willingness to take initiative and solve problems is essential.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and excellent customer service orientation.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with a high level of enthusiasm and a willingness to take initiative and solve problems.
- Reliability and dependability are also essential.
Pre-employment Requirements
- Current Intermediate First Aid certification (equivalent to Standard First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level "C", and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is required.
- A valid Security Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Search must be provided. Date of completion must be within the last 12 months.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications.
