Ocean Capital Holdings Limited is interested in a second- or third-year business student to work with our team in Saint John for the Summer 2024 term. Reporting to the Program Coordinator - Risk Mitigation, this role will play a critical role in developing and implementing enterprise-wide business continuity activities involving Emergency Preparedness and Health & Safety.
Responsibilities include:
- Research and development of emergency preparedness documentation, such as best practices and procedures.
- Research and refine documentation for workplace safety incident management.
- Supporting change management processes through the development of communications and key messaging.
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of Process Improvements and adjusting as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience:
- Second- or third-year Business student or related field.
- Intermediate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Proactive approach to managing work activities independently with minimal supervision.
- The ideal candidate will have an understanding and appreciation of the confidential nature of the position.
