This position is required to work in the Lacombe branch office.
Reporting to a Supervisor, Processing, and working closely with verification staff, this position is responsible for setting up and maintaining client files in a computerized environment for the Insurance and Income Stabilization programs. This position will also be required to work on AgriRecovery, LPI, Lending and any other Adhoc programs and products administered by AFSC.

What will you be responsible for?
- Setting up and maintaining client files in a computerized environment for the Insurance, Income Stabilization and Adhoc programs offered by AFSC
- Work under guidance to process, review, and verify client information to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Receive, review, update and edit applications and claim submissions on the Insurance, Income Stabilization program and/or Adhoc programs ensuring all relevant application documentation is included and complete
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries. Ensure a positive experience for clients by having courteous interactions
- Perform various administrative and data entry functions
- Establish relationship with Branch Delivery teams to share client information and acquire clarifications relative to low - medium complexity applications and claims and to request required documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of related experience
Minimum:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of related experience
• Working knowledge of farm and/or insurance background including agriculture terms and practices in Alberta would be considered an asset
• General understanding of farm tax, accounting practices, and financial information relating to all types of farm operations would be considered an asset
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
