Processing Team Member - Rolling, Trimming, Packaging, Labelling (Morning)

Processing Team Member

We are seeking Processing Team Members to join the team at Carmel who will be responsible for hand processing artisanal cannabis. Reporting to a Processing Manager(s), the successful candidate must have an eye for detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform all processing, packaging and labelling activities quickly under the direction of the Production Managers or designates
• This includes quick and efficient sorting, weighing, and filling pouches of cannabis or cannabis pre-rolls and applying labels, excise stamps and package master cases
• Follow Production SOPs and Good Documentation Practices
• Follow gowning, hygiene and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards
• Operate and maintain equipment as per SOPs
• Sufficiently clean and sterilize all equipment and rooms daily
• Help ensure a healthy and safe work environment
• Assist in batch record documentation, deviation investigations and CAPA implementation, as needed.
• Collaborating with Quality and Inventory to process accurate paperwork records
• Escalates any issues during shift and assist in their resolution to their direct supervisors
• Complete other production, warehouse and maintenance tasks as needed
• Assist other departments as necessary
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
• This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure

Full Time - Hours 40 hours

Salary: From $17.50 per hour
