The Conestoga IELTS Test Centre is looking for qualified individuals to join our team of IELTS and CELPIP Proctors in Brantford, ON.
Proctors are needed to assist with the delivery of the English Testing exams on scheduled Saturdays and Sundays our Brantford campus location. Shifts are generally 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities and Duties
Proctors must possess a post-secondary certificate or diploma, and demonstrate English language proficiency to allow for a full understanding of the complexities of IELTS testing.
Proctors are expected to be sensitive to cultural differences and to treat others with respect at all times. Maturity, trustworthiness, ability to pay attention to detail, conscientiousness and reliability are essential qualities for this position.
Qualifications and Skills
IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is an internationally recognized language test designed to test the ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication.
IELTS is jointly owned by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment. There are more than 800 IELTS test centres, in over 135 countries around the world. Last year, over 2 million IELTS tests were taken.
Successful candidates will be provided with training. Candidates commence as a Proctor and work towards becoming an Invigilator.

Salary: $16.71 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week
