Produce Prep Associate - Full Time (Specialty Grocery Store)

Market Fresh is an independent local gourmet grocer in the heart of downtown Guelph for 20 years. We are leading the way of Home Meal Replacements and supporting our local heroes.

Our Market Fresh team is a family of friendly and optimistic individuals who excel in our fast pace and ever changing environment.

We are currently seeking a Produce Prep Associate to join our growing team. This candidate will be an individual who has great customer service skills and is able to promote our Store Policies.

The position will be a variety of shifts including days, afternoons and weekends anywhere from 6:00am-7:00pm.

Responsibilities Include:

-Setting up the wet wall
-Ensuring customers are following our Store Policies which include COVID-19 Precautions
-Stocking produce
-Organizing and maintaining the back room
-Food preparation; cleaning, cutting and packaging
-Assist customers with inquiries
-Trim and prepare produce to be visually appealing

Requirements:

-Comfortable with occasional lifting
-Able to stand for extended periods of time
