about this team
The Product Technical Services team sits within Product Integrity Testing Ecosystem and serves a primary role in ensuring the product quality, fit, and performance meets the lululemon standard. It consists of a diverse set of team members that collaborate to perform on body testing of product and present insights to cross functional partners on the feedback gathered from wear testers as well as lab testing. The team supports advanced materials, raw materials, and style testing for products on the Go-To-Market Line plan. The role of Product Experience Testing Specialist works to coordinate the distribution of wear test samples to proper testers based on testing intent and evaluate what the possible guest experience could be.
a day in the life; what you'll do
  • Recruit testers for on body wear testing of samples ensuring the criteria is met based on the testing intent (i.e. recruit runners for a running sample)
  • Communicate with cross functional partners on expectations for testing, what styles will be tested, when the samples will arrive, testing intent, etc.
  • Communicate with the Product Technical Service Team Analysts on the survey building process, when the feedback will be completely gathered, and any other pertinent information for them to effectively create the wear test report.
  • Manage multiple tests at a time and effectively keep track of dates for each.
  • Advise the Testing Ecosystem Operations Manager in operations and systems upgrades
  • Support the Product Experience Testing Manager in executing strategic direction within the pods’ wear tests.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Raw Materials, Product Development, Design, Merchandising, and our LLO’s to understand future wear testing needs and to deliver quality product to the guest.
  • Partner cross-functionally with lululemon labs and Testing and Performance teams within the testing Ecosystem.
qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree + 1 yr. or Associates degree + 2 yrs. and a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in product testing, along with development, marketing, engineering, retail, customer service or any combination including product testing
  • Experience in textile or apparel quality/development; ability to recommend actions to ensure our products reach their highest potential
  • Strong leadership skills- ability to take initiative when needed
  • Proven ability to create, implement, and follow strategic plans to completion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills- ability to work with multiple personality types and levels. Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex projects/tasks with sensitive deadlines. Strong analytical skills. Attention to detail and follow up with wear test projects.

compensation and benefits package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $86,500 - $113,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
