Responsibilities
- Liaison with CKS, CKP Production personnel and Mill Services department to develop knowledge and understanding of Product Quality and processes within the operation.
- Specialize in assessing mill Product Quality and processes.
- Monitor paper quality, conduct audits, and lead Customer Complaint Team.
- Participate in Product Development, Paper Specification reviews, and Marketing & Sales meetings.
- Review paper test collaboration data and maintain testing integrity.
- Collaborate on mill trials for quality and new products.
- Provide technical customer support.
- Manage ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including audits and process improvements.
- Stay current of customer needs and be available for travel.
Qualifications
- Post secondary Science degree or diploma is preferred. However, candidates with 5-10 years papermill experience, knowledge of our paper grades and willingness to learn will be considered.
- Knowledge of the paper making process.
- High attention to detail is required.
- Good understanding of Microsoft office and computer-based data analysis tools is required.
- Strong documentation and communication skills will be essential.
