Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to support JPM Canada's Treasury Services & Payments Product strategy
  • Build business cases and slide decks in support of Product strategy and Product Management needs - notably in support of Product initiatives, investments, and system developments
  • Work with Finance and Business Management teams to obtain Product financials, analyze and report on revenue drivers and trends for Treasury Services & Payments Products
  • Collaborate with Finance and Business Management teams for strategic planning, resource analysis, annual budgeting and forecasting
  • As part of the Product execution roadmap, coordinate, track and report on product delivery investments/budgets, timelines
  • Work with Product Managers to maintain a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Work with analytics and research teams in support of the above responsibilities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant banking experience with demonstrated experience in Product Management, Business Management or related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian Payments and Treasury Services landscape.
  • Involvement in/understanding of payments modernization efforts in Canada and/or other jurisdictions (US/EMEA).
  • Proven track record in simultaneous and effective management of multiple complex projects and initiatives. Build and manage efficient timelines. Understand interdependencies. Anticipate and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills. Self-starter. Execution oriented. Ability to take initiative with limited direction and influence as part of a team. Resourceful/able to navigate organization.
  • Interpersonal, organization and leadership skills. Interacts diplomatically and persuasively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications.
  • Ability to travel 20%-30%

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Knowledge of Canadian Payments clearing and settlement, rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of emerging payment solutions or treasury solutions
  • Prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
