Production Agent

Status: Permanent or temporary – Full time day shift or evening shift

Day Schedule: 6h30 A.M. – 3h00 P.M.

Evening Schedule: 2h30 P.M. to 11h00 P.M.

position summary :

Reporting to the production supervisor and under the supervision of the Team Leader, the role of the PRODUCTION AGENT is to:

• Manufacture food flavorings following the recipes according to standards and procedures;
• Package and label the products;
• Clean and sanitize the production areas;
• Respect the GMP/GHP;
• Respect the political/corporate guidelines related to the quality system in place (HACCP/SQF);
• Notify the immediate supervisor and/or the quality control team of all deviations observed during
  production;
• All other related tasks.

required qualification:

• High school diploma completed;
• 1 to 6 months of pertinent experience;
• Experience in the food industry and/or pastry, an asset;
• Experience with a forklift/operator certification, an asset;
• Knowledge of HazMat/SIMDUT, an asset.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Have a good sense of organization and precision
• Be punctual and diligent
• The job requires a certain physical strength (25kg lifted frequently)
• Wearing a cartridge respirator (full face) is required for a few hours per day.
