Production Coordinator

IoM is looking for an experienced and driven Production Coordinator to join our crew. The PC works within the production team, responsible for coordinating and communicating deadlines and tracking project progress.

This position reports to a Production Manager and is a contract hire role that will be located at our Halifax, NS Studio. The Production Coordinator can work hybrid, remote or onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Production Manager
• Gather status information from relevant department related to deadlines
• Communicate departmental status with Production Manager
• Communicate issues affecting deadlines to the Production Manager
• Attends production meetings and takes notes (as required by PM)
• Maintains accurate data entry in to production tracking software

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role within animation production
  
• Highly organized, resourceful and dependable with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure in deadline-oriented departments.
• Ability to work independently
• Familiar with PC operating systems, Photoshop, Word, Excel
