Production Entry Clerk

Snowcrest Foods is a fast paced, high quality frozen food packer and distributor with global scope. We are a family-owned and operated business experiencing strong sales growth.

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Production Entry Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate thrives on a challenge, is an excellent communicator and can maintain a high degree of accuracy & confidentiality in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily data entry to assist in providing timely and accurate inventory information
• Daily sorting and processing of production run documentation
• Providing daily production and lot code information to Quality Assurance
• Requesting/recording of product transfers between facilities
• Maintaining spreadsheets to analyze production key performance indicators
• Collaborating with accounting team members, production, inventory control and customer service departments as required
• Assisting inventory control with tasks & providing backup as needed
• Maintaining procedure documentation in adherence to department standards
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
• High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Collaborative communication skills & work style
• Adept at learning software systems and programs
• Driven to complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines
• Independent problem solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• ERP system, Sage 300 ERP, SAP Business One and MS Access experience would be an asset
• Knowledge of accounting principles, related credentials or experience in manufacturing work environment would be an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
