The Opportunity
In this role you will follow proper process and procedures to specification outlined for each specific order required for powder coating products.
The Team
You will work independently amongst a small team of Powder Coaters in order to complete the coating process of parts in an efficient manner and will report directly to the Production Supervisor.
- Apply powder coat according to outlined specifications
- Hang and offload parts on the continuous flow powder coating line
- Perform quality checks before and after coating process
- Log time in ERP system
- Read and understand blueprints, specifications and drawings
- Working on top of tanks utilizing proper fall arrest equipment
- Preparation of product for powder coating application
- Operates equipment within the powder department
- Proper labeling of all finished parts
- Complete all other tasks as assigned
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment
- Must be able to work in warm to hot environment year round
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Great attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Production experience an asset
- Exemplary attendance record
- Proven ability to work safely
