In this position as a Production Scheduler, you will be working in the Tape Department of our production operations. The tape that we make is yarn that is stitched together on a looming machine. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Scheduler in West Valley City, Utah. PAY: This position pays $29.85/hr.
SCHEDULE:
The schedule is MONDAY-FRIDAY, 7am-3:30pm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop clearly defined production goals and manage equipment scheduling, emphasizing RTO/Manpower planning
- Provide an accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedule with the flexibility to accomodate last-minute amendments
- Ensure reliable forecasting and manage scheduling functions to maintain on-time product deliveries.
- Be a proactive problem solver in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Collaborate with the Materials Manager to align purchasing and supplier activities with the production schedule.
- Engage with cross-functional teams
- Participate in Daily Gemba Walks
- Drive and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety requirements of this position
- Abide by all policies and procedures in the associate handbook
- Adhere to all SOP's and GMP's set forth by the company
- Additional duties as required
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Proven experience overseeing an scheduling production in a manufacturing, logistics or operations environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills for monitoring plant production schedules, assigning priorities and determining shipment commitments
- Hands-On experience with inventory and production management, demonstrating the ability to make empowered decisions
- Project management and effective communication skills to present daily operations KPI reports, interface with quality and resolve issues affecting the manufacturing schedule
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, experience with manufacturing programs such as SharePoint, SAP/ERP Systems, MRP, and CRM tools is a significant plus.
OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift up to 30 Ibs. with or without reasonable assistance
- Forklift and Pallet Jack experience a plus
- Able to bend and stay in a bent over position for extended periods of time
- Must be able to walk and stand on a concrete floor for long periods of time
*For Tuition reimbursement you must be a full-time employee and complete one continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad*
**Amount earned is based on Plant performance in four Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) safety, savings, productivity and teamwork. Employee must be active full-time status during the quarter and at time of payout, with good attendance and no disciplinary action.
